What's New
Version 2.8.1
5 days agoThank you for using Intake! New: • Weekly budget: whatever you don't eat one day stays available for the week, and a dinner out evens out over the other days. Turn it on under Settings, Calories, Daily and weekly goals, and spread it automatically or by hand. • Month calendar: tap the calendar on Today. Every day shows its ring in green, orange or red, and you see how many days ended up in each color. • The new Intake AI card: your photo, the calories in large type, the macros on one line and every ingredient in a table. Choose "One meal" or "Ingredients separately" right on the card. • Calories left, always in view: when you add food and in Intake AI, a small ring at the top shows how many calories are left for the day. Tap it for protein, carbs and fat. You can turn it off under Settings, Appearance. After each entry it briefly shows what you added, then counts down. • Reminders and Live Activity: reminders still arrive if you don't open Intake for a few days, and tapping one takes you to the right place. "+250 ml" logs your glass right from the notification. The fasting Live Activity keeps moving on its own. • Widgets and Apple Watch: the "Calories Left" and "Calories Eaten" widgets look like the ring on Today. Water and weight from your Watch or Siri land in Intake and Apple Health right away, even with the app closed. • Help for every feature: the help button in Settings and "Learn more" lead to a step-by-step guide for every feature. • iPhone Duo: half open, the columns of Today and Stats meet exactly at the fold. Improved: • Every search result now has a plus: one tap logs a serving. The big number in search is per 100 g, or per 100 ml for drinks. And you can keep as many favorites as you like. • For weight, Stats shows the average of the last 7 days. • Pull down on Today or in Stats and Intake reads Apple Health and iCloud again right away. Changes in Apple Health also arrive by themselves. • Your fasting syncs to your other devices through iCloud. • Numbe
