5 hours agoPearly has undergone a major makeover! This update introduces a beautifully redesigned app experience and a brand-new Bus Routes feature to simplify getting around Barbados. From the moment you open the app, you’ll notice the refreshed look. Cleaner screens, bigger and easier-to-read text, smoother animations and a more modern polished feel are all part of the update. Every aspect of Pearly has been thoughtfully redesigned to feel more welcoming, intuitive and easy to use, whether you’re reporting an issue, checking the news or planning your next trip. Getting around the island has never been easier. Simply type any destination, whether it’s a landmark, village or stop name, and instant suggestions will be pulled from every bus stop on the island. If you can’t quite remember the spelling, no problem – smart search understands typos and nicknames so you’ll still find what you’re looking for. Need to get somewhere that isn’t a direct ride? Our new Journey Planner maps out multi-stop trips for you. Each leg of your route is shown with clear, tappable cards and a time picker so you can plan ahead or hop on right away. You’ll only see buses actually heading your way and when a connecting trip makes more sense than a direct one, we’ll show you that too. The live map has also been redesigned with cleaner visuals, full route lines and custom bus icons. This means you can see exactly where your bus is and where it’s heading in real time.
